Membership - Pro Rata - Boroondara Bushwalking Club

Becoming a Member

Intending members are required to complete 2 bushwalks with the Club as a visitor before applying for membership.

You can join up in one of the following ways:

  1. completely online (preferred) - select your membership type from the options below, fill in the online form and pay online with your credit card.
  2. partially online - select your membership type below, fill in the online form, and select the pay offline option, ie then pay by EFT, cheque, or cash at a meeting.
  3. totally offline - download and print the Membership Application Form, complete and return with your payment.  To download the form - CLICK HERE.

Please ensure that you include your full name in the destination account description so that we know who has paid.

Benefits of membership

Members are entitled to join all club activities, which include day walks, overnight walks and pack carrys, base camps, snow walks, cycling and a range of social events.
Members receive the Club’s quarterly newsletter The Vagabond. This includes articles about walks, information about bushwalking and a quarterly walking program with leader contact details.

The subscription fee includes personal and public liability insurance, provided through Bushwalking Australia. Members are encouraged to also have their own private medical and ambulance cover. Members interested in becoming walk leaders are offered in-house training by experienced members.

Membership - Pro Rata

A pro rata membership subscription for new members joining after 1st October. There is no further reduction for Concessional Members joining after this date.

Joining Fee: $25.00
Annual Subscription: $30.00
